I bought this more for a small car camping kit, but the foldability was surprising considering how sturdy it is. Worked fine against travel grill.I tried the tongs as well as both were on sale in the $5/$6 range

As long as your expectations are in line with what you want out of this you'll likely be happy - it is a lightweight, compact spatula, but with minimal material, it won't be flipping huge steaks or working over monster flames. This is for backpack camping with a small stove and pan, for small, personal or small group meals. I had seen it before, so I knew it was weak, but made the choice that the trade-off was worth it, in certain settings. It is for me as intended and I have other tools for other settings.
