Mission: Galapagos Conservancy protects the unique biodiversity and ecosystems of the Galapagos Islands through direct conservation, research and outreach.

These Islands have been described as one of the most unique, scientifically important, and biologically outstanding areas on Earth. An extraordinary jewel, the Archipelago and the surrounding Marine Reserve have some of the highest levels of endemism - species found nowhere else on earth.

Galapagos Conservancy connects people around the globe to conservation efforts in these extraordinary islands, while working in close partnership with local groups and communities to build a sustainable relationship with nature. We provide funding and technical support related to biodiversity conservation, science, education, and help build institutional capacity to restore and protect Galapagos ecosystems.

Galapagos Conservancy is a 501(c)(3) organization, with an IRS ruling year of 1985, and donations are tax-deductible.
