Trust me, Ive tried another brand as well as every other number Sun-Glo offers. This is the one.

We have a long shuffleboard table at my apartment complex. When we tried to play, it was a constant pain because the pucks would leave a trail down the table that would impede sliding. I bought a can of the SunBear Silicone spray and this 3 Table Powder. Between the two, it was like using a new table. We added the 3 Powder and played several games without needing to add more. I chose 3 because other reviewers complained that the powder made the pucks slide too fast. This one seemed just right. We were able to control our play pretty well considering our limited abilities. The pucks slid perfectly, and we all had such a fun time. Game night will be much more enjoyable from now on. Yea!

I bought multiple different speed-levels of this, and 3 is the one that worked best, by far. There is a huge difference, and the faster ones are so fast you can barely keep the pucks on the table. The slower ones are like sand paper. Go with 3.

Needed new wax for our new 9 foot shuffleboard. This is really nice but a little too fast for our size - next time will buy 4.

Numbers 1, 2 3 too fast. Couldn't keep the pucks in play no matter how lightly played. 5 6 clumped and pucks would just randomly stop. 4 speed Yellow Bear is working great so far.

We, as some others, got a new 9 foot shuffleboard table and tried to find the RIGHT wax to go with it. The small can that came was our table was clearly the fastest on the market (a 1), but we wanted something a bit slower since 1 was way way too fast. So, after many hours of research and reading reviews we came to the conclusion that sun-glo 3 (brown bear) was the perfect wax. We couldn't be more happy with the results. After sprinkling it on the table the wife and I played a game and the pucks slid perfectly (not too slow, but just with enough speed to repeatedly make it to the 1/2/3 zone on the table making for the game super FUN! We are highly impressed with this stuff. No bunching and the color is nice too. We give it two thumbs up, WAY UP! If you have a 9 ft. table, then THIS is the stuff you need (sun-glo 3). Don't get 1, 1.5 or 2. They are too fast. 4 is a tad too slow and causes bunching. Now we know why 3 is one of the top sellers.

After trying several other speeds of sand for my new shuffle board table, I settled on this one. The higher numbers all had issues with tracking, or plowing up, but this one is great. It does have more speed, but I like that. It means you need to use a little more finesse, but it makes the game more fun.I will be buying again as needed.thanks

Since purchasing my 12 foot table I have tried several different speed waxes and this speed number 3 seems to be the best fit for my family. Will buy again.
