I play every game with these and have a choice of many other types. I am no pro or expert. Funny that all challengers pick these first.

Paddle was recommended by the USSTTA for sanctioned play. Paddle received, however, was not as pictured on USSTTA site or as described. Received paddle is 3 ply, not 5 ply as advertised. Sandpaper is cut evenly on mine, but poorly glued with ridges and bubbles. Save your money! Martin Kilpatrick Thunder has always been known as a quality product for a few bucks more.

Just what I wanted. Lightweight, easy to use. I love it and use practically every day. Will certainly make future purchases.

This is a great sandpaper ping pong paddle. We love it and will certainly order more when needed. Thank you!

Really?? This paddle came with noticeable bubbles in the sandpaper sheet. The wood of the so called flat part has a couple of ridges going straight down. The ball will hit this part and go flying in a different direction.. Is there any quality control of this product at all?

I bought these paddles for my boyfriend who is a ping pong nut. He loves them! Says they are just like the one he grew up using.

Even though I know that padded inverted dimple paddles are the highest quality and the choice of top competitors, I grew up playing against my fellow tennis team players playing ping pong on rainy days and before and after practice at school. In those days the school provided sandpaper paddles and we got pretty darn good with those things. Now I simply prefer the feel and action of the hard wood and sandpaper feel. This paddle is that classic style. My vacation resort home bought a first class $500 ping pong table for the recreation room and of course they bought quality paddles. So I had to go out and buy this $7 sandpaper paddle to have for myself. It's just like I remember.

Exactly the item I was looking for. If you're worried about the price being so low, don't be. These are quality paddles with good grip. No damage, no defects. Awesome!

I have played ping pong since I was 4 years old and have paddles that are priced up to $35 and these sandpaper ones are my favorite. They really hold on to the ball.

Seriously, you get what you pay for. Very cheap paddle, noticeable glue in seams, sandpaper not cut exactly to size of paddle face. If you're looking for an inexpensive sandpaper paddle, you'd be better off spending another dollar and getting the Martin Kilpatrick Thunder Racket
