Bought this to save my back when picking up balls for a pickleball machine. Works OK. One of the steel balls at the end of a pick up rod at the bottom fell off after picking up a few hundred balls as experienced by may other reviews - I hammered the ball back on and so far it is still on. It picks up 1 ball very easily and 2 or 3 balls at once if the are perfectly aligned. The major problem is the shape of the basket - narrower a the bottom than the top - this make picking up balls up against a fence less than ideal - you need to give the basket a little swing to the fence or nudge it with your foot to pickup balls along fence. Since most courts are sloped for drainage - most balls end up against the fence!!
