Mission: Gammy & Papa’s Helping Hands mission is to help children and adult, cancer and stoke patients suffering at the holidays. We provide gift bags to these patients. Our helpful board and volunteers will inspire these individuals, and realize people care and they are not alone.
Results: We prepared bags as follows:2016 - 80 bags2017 - 250 bags
Target demographics: Cancer patients, Stroke patients and children in the hospital at the holidays
Direct beneficiaries per year: 250 individuals receiving treatment, in the hospital or at The Aphasia Center
Geographic areas served: Midland, Texas
Programs: Providing gift bags to patients receiving chemo and/or in the hospital at the holidays, as well as the pediatric floor at the hospital and The Aphasia Center of Midland.
