I had issues with local chimney sweep companies so I decided to look into cleaning my chimney myself. I watched a youtube video of this guy using this chimney sweep kit and he recommended it highly. Mine arrived today and I was crazy happy with the ease of use and the results in just 30 minutes. I am very happy with my experiencing and am recommending this product to any do-it-yourselfer.

Great product , hight recommend . Makes yearly maintenance something more easily attainable and not such a chore anymore. Plus helps us older guys stay off the roofs longer.

Only down side of this was not having a third arm/hand when switching in extra lengths.Due to damper configuration I had to go up on roof and work down. So adding the additional lengths was a bit of a challenge...but other than that it was outstanding.18V Drill on 1 (slow speed) was adequate alone, but I kicked it up to higher speed to see the difference. That sooted up stack shined bright silver when I was done. Our fire place is an old cast iron that can be completely sealed. When I was done I opened it up.Prior to starting I wanted to get a pick of the damper system so I laid a piece of newspaper on the existing ashes, put a headlamp on that newspaper shining up, then looked up with my camera.Left the newspaper in there.....then after I swept things that news paper was covered in hard black crystalized creosol.Neighbor was outside watching as I did this. Showed him the results. He liked it and said Do mine I'll pay you $100...well this is paid for

A safe way to clean your chimney without risk of falling off your roof. This product works very well and cleans the chimney thoroughly without much fuss. It is made well and it components work together flawlessly. I highly recommend this product.

This chimney cleaning system works great. I have a new fireplace insert with steel tubing chimney; top cap similar to chicken wire gets clogged blocks airflow. Here in Colorado hardwood is rare and mostly use pine so cleaning is important. Chimney cap is 30 feet up and the house is on the side of a mountain so not interested in going out there on a ladder. The system is perfect. It goes all the way up cleans that cap and the chimney all the way down. I added a couple of extensions due to the height of my system. Always surprised how much soot comes down, just shovel it out from firebox when done. If you're willing to do a little work and cleaning, I highly recommend this.

This has worked great in my fireplace chimney with two (2) 45 degree elbows. I also used it in my friends fireplace that hadn't been cleaned in years...he and I were very surprised at the amount of dried up soot that fell as we cleaned it. Very satisfied with product and it's very reassuring to me to know that my chimney is clean. I will suggest, however, to buy Rutland Creosote remover and use it a couple of times before using the chimney sweep. I turns any creosote into a powdery substance that aids in the removal/cleaning process of your chimney.

I attached to my drill and cleaned my chimney in minutes. One thing you should do is spray wd40 or something similar on the connections. Love this product!

I think that this product should also maybe have a tip to connect to Impact Drivers because sometimes the Drills come loose of their tips etc....

Did the job on a fireplace pellet stove. I was able to get the brush up the exhaust pipe with the added extensions.

Worked as stated. Poles were very flexible and easy to use. Did a great job at cleaning the chimney. It was awesome to clean the chimney from bottom up and not have to climb on the roof . Would recommend. I bought an extra head being mine was cut at 6 inches so I could also do father in law chimney which is 8 inches.
