These are great wrenches for the money. Gearwrench makes great tools. I have lots and lots of snap on, Matco, and Mac (as well as craftsman professional) and Gearwrench hand tools always perform as good as the higher priced peers. Sometimes you will notice slight flaws in their chrome where you probably will not with the higher priced companies but pure functionality is on par with the others. Highly recommended for those odd large fasteners. I also have the Metric set of these larger sizes and will probably use the metric wrenches more based on the vehicles I have now. But that may change.

Good, well constructed heavy weight tools. The seem to do well when used for the purpose they were purchased for, to work on farm tractors and my larger farm trucks. Personally, I don't mind the 34;extra34; length of the tool, it gives me the leverage that I need when working on equipment.

These are a great value have held up awesome under daily professional use and have a great fit and finish. The chrome isn't quite as nice as snap on stuff but who cares you can't even get one wrench in this size for snap on price. These even have a flank drive type jaw opening going on!

These are super thick just like I was looking for. I am a construction equipment mechanic and have used my co workers snap on 1 1/2 and this is just as thick, or thicker. I would like the snap on or truck brand, but I cannot get myself to spend 500 dollars on wrenches that I use hammers and cheaters on. I also have a sunex 1 1/2, it is not up to the task, it bent while torquing axles. I would recommend these if space is not an issue because they are seriously thick, thicker than the truck brands I believe.

I have to say these tools look very good. Surface Drive Plus on open end is obviously there. The only reason I returned these is because they are made in China. Some may not agree with me but my experience with tools from China vary in quality (especially when you need it). Tools made in Taiwan are much better in quality and if they were made there I might consider keeping them. I think I'm going to bite the bullet and save for a S-K set made here in the USA. I have the large metric S-K set already and it's top notch!

Over the years as a Porche Mec. , most tools S-K , of course all metric and all quality tools , and as a commercial fisherman I used mostly Craftsman , often replaced every year and they are (were) another great tool . Had a house fire and huge shop burn to the ground some years ago and never replaced the tools I went to GearWrench last year taking a chance and what I received was as advertised with very few flaws if any . They are substantial in your hand and fit your adversary's well . I've used both sloppy and tight clearances and these are just about right . If you appreciate a very good tool at what I believe a good price consider this set . I do 34;not34; like slick tools and these are that ! Spare me the glitter , give me more grip . A 5 Star as advertised , I give these a 4 1/2 for the shine.
