Works better than I thought! Great universal tool. Carry pouch is nice design too. I use to install low voltage wire and phone jacks. Makes cutting drywall and screwing in frames a cinch. I have purchased others in the past to give as gifts.

Great compact multi-use tool. Have this in my camping backpack. Combines wood and metal saws and multi-bit screwdriver. Really like the adjustable angle for the handle.

This goes into my "Get Home Bad" and will transfer into my BOB kit. Ordering additional blades for this will let it be so much more versatile. Cutting wood, steel, locks, pipe, fences, brick. etc... Along with it being a 1/4 driver makes it a necessary survival tool. Will be buying another for day to day work use. Like my Swiss Army knife, won't need it often but it will be great to have. I think back on when I could of used this and it will fill in on those occasions nicely. Sturdy enough if I don't go nuts using this.

It doesn't look like much, but when the occasion arises, this solid little tool will make short work of a 1x3 board, a steel rod, or a piece of sheetrock. It uses easily replaceable reciprocating-saw blades (Wood, Metal, and Sheetrock) Think of it as a hand-powered Sawzall. It has a set of hex insert driver bits and a bit holder, in case you don't have enough already, but it's really about the saw.25 Top Tools for the Apartment Dweller

Bought it mostly for its sawing (in)capability. I think a kid's toy would be better. The saw doesn't want to stay in, regardless of the fact that I've screwed/locked it in properly. I end up using duct tape to keep it in place. And insofar as being a saw... My steak knives are essentially just as effective.

The (low) price makes this useful saw a 5 for me. The saw is functional and versatile (different angles). Product looks durable.Great that it uses reciprocating saw blades.

Feels very heavy in hand, in a good way. It's never my first choice when I need a saw, but it is the most convenient (and easily stored). The belt holster is a bit flimsy but works well, keeping it organized, if placed in a tool bag's pocket. With the extra screwdriver bits and 1/4 quick change bit holder, it makes sense to keep this next to a screwdriver with changeable bits.

The ergonomics of the handle, especially when angled, are great. I work in HVAC and the incorporation of both saw and driver i great....as is the ability to store all the bits neatly in the handle so it isn't one more thing loose in my tool belt.

Hi, I'm a perfectionist when it comes to finding the right tool for the job. I'm an electrician and frequently need to cut precise holes in walls, usually cement like plaster, not just drywall, as most of the houses I work on were built in the '50s and earlier. This was about the fourth product that I've tried, and it works perfectly. For me the two most important features are that you can replace the blades with standard recip saw blades, and that the handle can be bent to provide better ergonomics when using it. Plus having a unit that is rugged and holds up to the demands of cutting through hard plaster and occasionally lathe strips is important too. This saw works wonderfully. The twist lock mechanism that locks the blade in was getting a bit sticky, but I know that i could have used some WD-40 if it got too bad and that would have fixed it up, as there isn't much that WD-40 won't unstick.I lost track of my original unit on a jobsite just two days ago and feel bereft without it. I won't even buy anything else to use temporarily until this arrives because I haven't seen anything at the local hardware stores that even begin to compare. I'll lug out my recip saw in place of this until the new one arrives.Definitely worth every penny!UPDATE:Broke after 18 months. I use this thing about once a week, so not heavily used. After searching around for any other options, I ordered another one as soon as the old one broke. There seems to be no real competition on the market, so I'm not going to lose sleep if I have to replace this once in a while. There are some folding hole saws out there that also use recip saw blades, but if those things break the blade could close on your fingers, which cannot happen with this particular style.
