I used this to make a pool heater, it was the right size, the 1/2in fittings fit perfectly and it was a great deal.

As with other reviewers, we noticed immediately that this tubing is just under 1/2”, which makes it seemingly impossible to get it on the fittings. No matter how hard we tried, we couldn't get them together without the trick outlined below.HOWEVER, we used a blow torch to slightly heat the ends to make them stretch over the fittings and tah dah! Literally only heat the end for a couple seconds otherwise it'll either melt or catch fire. They fit VERY snugly and are not going anywhere. We haven't had any pop off from water pressure, as we have had with some of the tubing we had from our last project that was purchased at Home Depot, and we haven't needed to use clamps on any of this tubing.

Well reading the reviews, was not sure how the tubing would play out. It came, I worked with it. Honestly, don't understand what the complaints were for. I had no issues. Yes some of it did get bad kinks. I just worked it out and kept installing. I had no issues really. I didn't use a heat gun or hot water. Just shoved the piece and used muscle. Even the simple tool to puncture holes was easy to do. Not difficult. Everything went smoothly.

After buying the standard 1/2 hose from the store to go along with the Orbit blu-lock fitting, I found out Orbit does not fit normal 1/2 hose and they want you to buy their special blue tubing for 3 times the price. This works wonderful and fits the fittings.

The main thing to know, is that the inner diameter of this is 0.52 inches, but most other supply line I have is 0.54 to .6 ID. That little extra is the difference between being able to insert a connector in cold weather without a heat gun, or not. I can actually insert this raindrip tubing inside the rainbird version.Generally, you're only making a few connections then running smaller feeder lines, so the impact is only the first time you're laying out a new run.It'll still get water from A to B, but I'll probably spend the extra for another brand next time. Making connections with this in tight spaces is virtually impossible.

Have not use product as of this review but right out of box it was not what it should have been. Order1 100ft roll and received 2 rolls of 50 ft each. It is a thin wall tubing not a thick wall pipe so just keep that in mind. Will work fine for low pressure drip type watering.

This tubing does not work with standard drip irrigation systems attachments. It's too small and compression fittings are too large and water pours out. No returns??!!

The roll I received appeared to have been returned before, the packaging, the tape, not rolled consistently? So I checked my fittings. This does not fit the slip on fittings from Home Depot or Lowes. It's too small. I believe those lines are .700, this is 1/2 so too small to even try to glue or use the slip on that these are intended to use with

I got this for $10 less than the box stores. I used it to make an irrigation system for our garden and a flower bed. No issues at all I would recommend getting stakes for them because it will naturally want to curl.
