Great item for the price. Super warm comfy in freezing temperatures. if you dont know how to take care of wool- do some research so youre not disappointed after washing.

Do not buy this product! It is not a USGI wool cap, I'm fairly certain it's acrylic and a knockoff. I have an olive green USGI wool cap and this is not even close! And it's tight af.

Natural wool, warm and fits well on my husbands big head. He says its warm and perfect for his work as when it gets wet it still keeps him warm.

I love this hat! Absolutely great quality, 100 wool and made in the USA. If you have not tried these real deal military issue... No comparison to the $4 WallyWorld special. These don't ride up and just out preform in every way.

The is not even close to the U. S. Navy Watch cap. It is a very light weight knit cap. Not really sure it is wool. I recently acquired a U S Nay issue cap from the son of a friend who is in the Navy. This hat is not even half the weight or the quality of the real thing.

It is a very nice cap however it doesn’t really protect from the wind. Maybe if it was a bit heavier it would dona better job with wind protection. Otherwise very nice.

I bought the hat sold by SPLG Products and it is definitely wool and not acrylic like some reviews are saying. The hat is sold by multiple vendors which is probably why some have gotten fakes. You can test if it's wool by pulling a few fibers out of the fabric and burning them, it will smell like burned hair. The hat is great for the price. Very sturdy and warm. It's a bit tight but it loosens up after you wear it for a bit.

There is so much FUD about this item here. I got a double layer wool cap that could not be improved on for the unbelievable price of $8. I wear it all Winter, I love it! I am back here to buy another!
