Mission: The Georgia Center for Child Advocacy is a nationally accredited child advocacy center furthering our mission to champion the needs of sexually and severely physically abused children through prevention, intervention, therapy and collaboration. From conducting the initial forensic interview, to supporting the family through advocacy services, to then providing trauma-focused therapy services - we promote a comprehensive response for our families in need. And, we do this all while stressing protective factors by providing statewide prevention education, professional trainings and outreach. For 35 years, our approach has enabled thousands of children to find safety, feel protected, and move forward to lead a healthy childhood.  (Less)
