That's literally the only surprise, it has a VERY snug neck hole but my hubby tolerates it because otherwise the fit is great and they are great quality.

I expected these shirts to be a thinner material at this price point. In fact they are a medium weight which is perfect in warmer weather and even cooler. The material has a nice soft feel, is excellent quality and the colors depicted were right on the mark. I have an athletic physique at 5'8 and 165 and fluctuate between a medium and large depending on brands. I ordered the large and it fits perfect.
