Mission: It is the Mission of the Glendale School District Education Foundation to generate and manage resources to enhance learning opportunities for students and staff of the Glendale School District.

Results: We have spent over $120,000 the past ten years of the Foundation's existence to reward and enhance academic achievement on all levels of K-12 education at Glendale School District.

Target demographics: To create and perpetuate community awareness of the need to enrich the educational opportunities of the K-12 students of Glendale School District through planned giving.

Direct beneficiaries per year: 800+ students K-12,70 instructors, and many families. . .

Geographic areas served: The Glendale School District's 5 surrounding municipalities

Programs: Challenge Grants for Teachers, Viking Achievement Awards, Student Scholarships, Grades 12-9 Academic Letter Program, Students of Distinction Program, Elementary Reading Awards, PA One Books for Grades K-1, provide FREE dictionaries for every Grade 3 student, donations to elem and HS "School Wide Positive Behavior" Programs, Cash award to 'Principal Award' winner, Cash awards to Top 3 students in Glendale Spelling Bee, free bicycles for Perfect Attendance in Grade 6, and many other to reward academic excellence!
