Mission: Global Vision Citadelle Ministries is on a mission to bring the hope and light of Christ into the darkest places of Haiti. We do this by building the local church, impacting communities, and supporting children. We're different because we use the local Haitian church as the base for our outreach, we believe in getting buy-in and contribution from the people we serve, and we have a predominately Haitian staff (97%).
Target demographics: Rural Haitian Communities, children and students
Geographic areas served: Haiti
Programs: We empower 70 local Haitian churches with over 10,000 weekly attendees with spiritual and physical assistance though building projects, leader training, and operational support. We impact communities with medical programs that treat over 20,000 people each year and clean water projects that save lives. We support children by providing education to over 7,000 through our 24 schools as well as a home to over 130 in our orphanage.
