I needed to power a MacBook with numerous external drives which is not near an outlet. I have several of these but they all had 4 foot cords. Daisy chaining extension cords is NOT a good idea. This extension outlet with 12 foot cord lets me put the cord out of the way. Exactly what I needed and did the trick.

This surge suppressor met my needs, and I wanted it in white to go with the office decor. It is white, but the plug head is green?!? Why not white?

I had my expensive professional iron plugged into this for the surge protection. Had a power surge and suddenly my iron stopped working. Found out the fuse was fried. So, the surge protection doesn't work. Gee, thanks crappy manufacturer of this product for costing me money and for selling a subpar product!

With all the junk made today, I try to be very selective, especially on electronics, etc. (things that could be a fire hazard)This is my second Green Power extension cord / surge protector, and it is great. Heavy duty, long cord and the plugs are facing the right way!I use it for my portable office's home station. I just plug in and I'm set. It makes working at home easy and give me peace of mind.I recommend Green Power!
