Causes: Human Services

Mission: To support communities and children in rural Malawi. The goals are to empower the people to build sustainable communities through programs in education, health care and commerce

Results: Our fundraising is to give secondary school scholarships (all students in Malawi must pay for secondary school) and conduct a mobile health care plan with HIV/AIDS outreach. We additionally are doing orphan and elderly outreach. We have partnered with a micro-loan company to help 12 farming cooperatives gain economic independence. We also are working with the forest commission to reduce destruction of the Ntchisi Rain Forest and bring clean water to 7 villages in Ntchisi.

Target demographics: Vulnerable children, elderly, students in need, entrepreneurs.
