I loved the butter dishes! It was well packed to ensure from breaking!

They put the description very clearly of the size but it's the size of the BOX with the 2 dishes packed inside. It is NOT the size of the dishes. Very tiny.

You may think this is strange, but I keep butter on my nightstand. I have struggled with insomnia for years, and having a little bit of butter nearby to help me fall back asleep when I wake up has been one of the best tricks Ive learned.I was looking for a nice way to store my butter without having random little containers that get greasy and stain my beautiful wood nightstand. These also protect the butter from the prying little noses and tongues of my ever-hungry, butter loving puppies. These also protect the butter from all the horrible flying monsters we have in the south who invade my home every time I open a door.They are beautiful, sturdy and the perfect size. I keep the butter under my night stand lamp (which can get very warm) and the butter has not melted. Just to be safe, I still keep the butter in a small stainless steel ramekin (a 1.6 ounce ramekin), which fits perfectly inside the interior lip.I will be ordering more of these for when I entertain guests. They are slightly larger than others I have had in the past, but small enough to not take up too much table space, while allowing enough room to keep a good size ball of butter.The design is lovely and works perfectly with my decor and other crystal I have. The top ball handle is large enough that even someone with arthritis can easily grip it without dropping the lid.I will be using the other one I purchased to make a mini terrarium. How cute is that?I definitely recommend.

This was a bit smaller than expected but perfect. I purchased battery votive candles to put in them. Perfection. Worth every penny as with all the other items.

Beautiful detail on glass. Easy to clean. Perfect little addition to your upscale formal dining table setting. Each butter dome holds about a quarter stick of butter at most. Very small and cute. Delicate glass, easily breakable, but arrived in nice boxes to keep them stored in when not using.

This was the perfect solution to a very crowded table and looked beautiful. I was able to put one at each end of the long Thanksgiving table and saved precious table space at the same time.

I already had four of these butter dishes, but needed two more. I love using them on bread/butter plates and they add such a lovely touch of elegance to a table setting.

I loved the product.

I like to have these for leaving a small amount of butter at room temperature. This isn't my first purchase of this particular brand/style. It seems like I'm not the only one who thinks they are cute since the previous ones have all vanished. They come boxed, making them an excellent gift, and each piece is separated to prevent breakage.

Who knew such an item even existed? Very nice touch for a formal table setting.
