The item itself looks lovely, however I did not realize that it was made in China. After filling it with spring water and taking a drink the next day, the taste of lead was very apparent. I am returning it.

I was really excited to get this carafe. My doctor recommended I drink more water and this seemed like the best way to do it. Why then am I giving this 2 stars? Because I can't keep water in this container overnight without lead leaching into my filtered and purified water. Lead. Wasn't even mentioned in the description when I purchased it. You can imagine how upset I am now to have this beautiful carafe and not even be able to keep water in it overnight. Don't buy it.

Very small. It didn't hold enough water, or have a wide enough opening to add ice cubes. It will be a spare, but don't recommend.

I got this as a replacement to a carafe that was broken. The prior carafe had a stopper that was also used as a small glass. The number one reason that I don't like this carafe is that unless you completely wash the cup and dry it prior to putting it back on, it will stick. I put mouth wash in my carafe in my bathroom and even though I rinsed it with water prior to putting it back on top, it wasn't enough and the tiny amount of residue made it stick together. Then the tiny amount of residue also slide down the side of the carafe and cause the carafe to stick to the plate I had it on and I could only unstick by soaking eveything in warm water. If you are going to use this for water, it would be great, but don't buy it for anything else or you will be stuck with a sticky mess.
