This is a great butter dish. Lots of room in it. West Coast butter fits with lots of room to spare. The dish is heavy glass. Nothing flimsy about this! Great, classy looking butter dish. I would recommend to anyone.

The handle on top makes it very easy to use, especially if your hands are wet, as compared to the previous on I had purchased without one. Looks much more expensive that the selling price.

Gorgeous butter dish, I bought to use every day. Washes easily and the handle on top is a huge improvement over the last one I had.

Did you know that butter sticks on the west coast are a different size from sticks on the east coast? So some butter holders are too small for west-coast butter sticks which are wider and shorter. This is designed to be able to hold both sizes. Works perfectly with west cast butter.

LOVE this butter dish! Heavier than I thought it would be, feels sturdy. The reason I purchased this butter dish is because of the nob on top. Very easy to take the lid on and off. My husband feels we should be wearing formal wear when we use it. :)
