LOVE this butter dish! Heavier than I thought it would be, feels sturdy. The reason I purchased this butter dish is because of the nob on top. Very easy to take the lid on and off. My husband feels we should be wearing formal wear when we use it. :)

Very well made. Nice weight to it. Generous size allows a full stick of butter to sit without the lid smashing it down upon opening and closing.

This butter dish is awesome and very nice looking. I have been receiving compliments on it and people can't believe the price I got it for. I love how it has handles on the sides and on the top. Makes it very easy to move and lift the cover. Definitely worth every penny!

A little oversize for one stick of butter making it a bit heavy and takes up extra room in the storage compartment in my fridge. Elegant looking for its price.

I ordered this butter dish based on other ratings and because I wanted 1) a butter dish with a handle on the lid 2) one where a cube of butter would fit with the lid on. It definitely met my expectations and even exceeded them. This dish is heavy crystal that holds butter with plenty of clearance on all sides. It would look beautiful on any table for any occasion. I use it everyday and feel like I am using fine, elegant crystal which brings a touch of class to my meals.

The cover would have been best is it sat above the butter level. As it is it gets butter on the bottom of the cover and when you remove it to get butter you get butter on the counter or breadboard.

Elegant butter dish with cover. Classic design and suitable for formal settings. Substantial in weight and size. Easily holds an entire stick of butter. No sharp edges. Smooth. Good quality. Goes well with the other pieces of the Godinger Dublin pieces but good enough to stand alone or use with other classic table ware and dinner ware. This covered butter dish takes a lot of room in our fridge for daily use so we prefer to use it on special occasions. It is a lovely piece.
