I have purchased this exact butter dish three times in as many years. They have made wonderful gifts for family members. Of course, I own one myself. It is large enough for two sticks of butter (US size) if you desire. But there are two things I love most: Good looks, and the best grip handle I've ever tried.

I've had two Godinger covered butter dishes for over 20 years. After all those years, the crystal became cloudy. I was thrilled to find they were still made, but initially only ordered one because I wasn't sure if it would be as nice as the original. It was. I ordered the other so now I have two sparkly, crystal clear butter dishes.

Best I've found. Easy to lift the lid because of the shape of the handle. Very sturdy, I clean top shelf dishwasher. Won't buy any other.
