My wife had been looking in stores for a long time, she had almost given up finding a glass butter dish with a glass cover for a reasonable price.<br />The Godinger Dublin Covered Butter Dish I gave to her as a stocking stuffer. This butter dish looks expensive, looks like a $100 crystal butter dish.

It's quite attractive. The cover doesn't sit flat on the dish. It rattles a bit when touched or moved. I wasn't expecting that; I assumed it would fit as all my preceding butter dishes have. Still, that doesn't effect its use or its good looks....

Pretty and heavy, but not the cheapest on the market, certainly not durable. We've broken two in a matter of five years. Now on our third. Won't buy a fourth.

So pretty! Fits butter sticks perfectly and allows room for the glass to fit nicely around the butter without touching it. The handle on the top makes it so easy to remove the top. Love this!

I was shocked to see how big the dish was when it arrived. It's about an inch wider and longer than a standard butter dish. I wasn't sure if I would like such a big butter dish, but after using it for a few months, I decided that I like it. This thing will accommodate both east coast and west-coast butter sticks (I'm not sure about other fancy imported kind of butters). The glass does have a few bubbles in it, but nothing really noticeable. It sure looks elegant

Beautiful, heavy crystal. It would make a great wedding gift, but I use mine for everyday and just leave it on the counter because it looks so pretty. Great price, too!

Love this butter dish! It is pretty and looks great on my granite countertop. My favorite part is the handle...makes getting to the butter so much easier.

I love my butter dish. It is nice to have a butter dish with a handle that fits your hand that you can hold onto. It holds a stick of butter quite well.
