It is very Gorgeous thick sturdy glass. May be a bit large for tissue boxes made from Kleenex but I don't care. No One has anything like this in their bathroom. Looks OLD WORLD. I LOVE it.

Elegant addition to my bathroom decor. Much larger than I had expected and holds two boxes of tissues if you remove them from their boxes which is a nice feature.
