Bought it as a gift for my pilot boyfriend and he has another airplane bottle opener but I prefer this one. It seems more whimsical and slight larger so it's easier to open bottles. I'm a woman with small hands, so I like having some weight and I like being able to wrap my fingers around it.

My husband who is a pilot LOVED it! It's a lot bigger than I imagined but it looks great and very heavy duty! We get so many "wow that's so cool" and compliments when we have people over!

I have to admit, I'm a total idiot when it comes to using a bottle opener. I don't know what's wrong with me but there's been plenty I've used where I wind up almost hurting myself. This bottle opener isn't like that. It was super easy to use (even for me).<br /><br />Now, on to the good stuff...how it looks. The silver is shiny and it came with no dings or scratches. (It was nicely packaged to keep it protected). The size seems just about right, at least for me. It's not too big or too small. It seems well constructed although I haven't been using it long so I guess time will tell how it holds up. It has really nice details and will add a unique flair to the barware of any fan of aviation. Love it.
