These are extremely useful and they do stick pretty well. The only thing I would add as an improvement would be that the tape be a little thicker so that it will fit the contour of the helmet and adhere over the entire grip. I have had to replace the tape on several older helmets and I use a thicker tape.

Installed great on my kid's POC ski racing helmet, replacing the strap and snap the helmet came with. (The snap is hard for little kids to get closed by themselves.) Definitely overpriced for a few pieces of plastic and some 3M tape, but it works well and there aren't any other options.

Just used the micro grip during 10 days of skiing. They stayed attached to my helmet and kept my goggles from falling to the back of my helmet. As noted in other reviews, follow the instructions for attaching the grips. 1. clean the surface with included wipe 2. Attach the grips to the helmet and press with your thumbs to be sure they adhere 3. allow 24 hours to fully dry and attach and my suggestion is: during that time every 3 hours of so, hold the grip to a light to see if there is any daylight between the grip and the helmet, if there is, apply thumb pressure for a minute to the grip again. I had to do this several times as areas of the adhesion pulled away from the helmet a little bit. After 24 hours, the grip was fully attached and worked very well and, even at $20 I was happy with the way they worked.

I've been buying these for every ski helmet, especially for my grandsons. They keep your goggles in the front of your helmet on top of your head.

People who report this product falling off helmets are morons who either 1) didn't follow directions, and didn't clean the helmet surface with the included alcohol wipe, 2) didn't follow directions, and didn't let the double-sided adhesive pad cure for 24 hours before attaching goggles, 3) tried to attach the product to a helmet with a nubbly or textured surface, such as a cheap styrofoam bicycle helmet. I attached the product to a motorcycle helmet with a glossy slick surface, followed the directions, and the Goggle Grips are on there so tight that I'd have to use a knife or flat-bladed screwdriver to pry them off.My only con with this product is that $18 does seem like a lot for a couple pieces of plastic. But they do the job, and there really isn't any less expensive alternative.

every time we purchase a new ski helmet, we pick up one of these. great grips to hold strap in place so goggles don't flip off and hang from behind the helmet.

We bought these for our 7 yr old son's Smith ski helmet as his goggle strap broke. They work great and so far so good! Hold his goggles in place!

These didnt really work for me. The glue was strong enough to keep the clips on the helmet but the large gap between the 2 ends of the clips allowed my google strap to pop loose.

Installed these on my new ski helmet after noticing how easy the goggles would slide over the top. With these installed the goggles do not slide up unless pushed by hand. Even when pushed up the goggles stayed securely attached to the helmet. Cheap insurance to not loose googles on modern slippery helmets.
