This oil is great. My family are kind of popcorn critics in a way. My brother has become the master of his popcorn machine and is very critical of all his batches. This is now the only oil we will use even if it is on the expensive side.

Flavor was excellent!

I've been on the quest to recreate the flavor of movie theater popcorn. Golden Barrel Butter Flavored Oil was the missing piece. To be fair, I have not bought any other butter flavored coconut oil; I've only used non flavored oils. This was a very well priced product that I was comfortable experimenting with. I don't see the need to buy the higher priced products at this point. This is everything I hoped it would be and an excellent value for the money. I use this, yellow popcorn and Flavacol with a Whirleypop. I top with real butter because I haven't found a quality substitute. It's the closest thing I've found to being at the movies. Don't be afraid to try it.

I get compliments all the time that my popcorn tastes just like movie theater popcorn! This is the secret right here.

Kinda disappointed in the flavor of this one. You have to use more than what I am used to using to get the nice color and flavor. Probably would not purchase again. I prefer the whirly pop brand. Also what the heck is a sheerness rating?

Over all this is not an bad popping oil. The yellow color for the popcorn is a little lighter than some others but not bad. And the flavoring comes up a little short also. I also find myself using slightly more oil to pop the same amount of corn than others brands. But overall not bad.On a scale from 1 to 10, with 10 being GREAT. I'll give this a 8.
