I've bought a few movie theatre type butter flavored oils, only to be not happy with the results. THIS is the one that I'll be using from now on.As soon as I opened the jar I could smell that movie theatre aroma. I took a taste of it, and it tasted just like butter!! Same texture. Same aroma. Same flavor as real butter. Even leaves that yellowish tint on the popcorn.I like mine with extra butter when I by at the movies. So now I guess I'll be buying more than one on my next order.Guys, I'm telling you, you'll be just as happy as I am.

Add a little flavacol and this makes the best popcorn, taste just like movie theater popcorn.

First I popped specialty kernels in the microwave with a silicone microwave popcorn popper. It was only tasty when I added melted butter and parmesan cheese to it. So then I bought this product and popped with Golden Barrel buttered coconut oil. It was really flavorful popcorn and tasted like what I would pay for overpriced movie theater popcorn. Buy with confidence.

I like this oil, because for home use it offers you a reasonable size. I had bought a gallon size in past and ended up throwing most away because it became rancid. Does not not smoke at high heat needed for popping popcorn

I purchased this item because it had great reviews and comments on the buttery flavor. Many mention the butter taste and compare it to movie theater popcorn taste. I was pretty disappointed to find that there is barely any flavor to this at all. Additionally, the added effort of having to warm this oil up each time I want to use it because it always becomes solid again just adds to the frustration. It is an oil and it is coconut oil and healthier than regular oil... but I would have gone with a cheaper oil that has flavor... I hate having to add salt to my popcorn to get flavor, defeats the purpose of the healthy oil.UPDATESo the flavor isn't too bad if you ignore all instructions and add a ton if the oil and plenty of salt. Honestly there aren't many options in the coconut oil popcorn butter market.

I love this coconut oil it makes my homemade popcorn taste like it's from the movie theater. The only gripe I have with it is that it seems to make it easier to burn my popcorn when I make it in the microwave. I didn't have a problem with that before. I used to be able to use the popcorn button with no problem but now I have to wait and listen to the popping sounds so that I can avoid burnt popcorn.

I use two tablespoons of this with one of smart balance oil and half a cup of snappy white popcorn, with a half teaspoon of flavocol, and it's just like movie theater popcorn. I use the Franklin popcorn popper on the stove.

This maker of p-corn oil, is very hard compared to other products of same ingredients. Makes it hard to get it out of the jar...especially with a measuring spoon.The product arrived in a timely fashion.Thank-You, 1FJ

Making stove top popcorn has never been as easy to do as it is with this. It adds extra flavor without adding extra steps and gets you closer to that real movie popcorn feel! Definitely recommend.
