After 16 years the last replacement went bad. I have no complaints. This went right in. I did have to cut down the shaft. The screws lined up exactly. FYI, this does come with a run capacitor. So far, so good. We'll see if it lasts although it is in a very old unit. Just nursing it along until the compressor fails.

The instruction manual was not helpful at all for a DIY person. Bunch of mumbo jumbo that don't make sense. It doesn't tell you what wire is positive negative. The wires are not red and black. No picture diagram for the wiring. The instruction manual seems useless to me. I'll most likely still have to call HVAC tec to wire it

It was harder to Uninstall the old one than it was to install this one. Had a guy come to check on it and I had actually managed to install it correctly. Also it runs like a charm which thank God because I installed it in the heat of the day in the summer work heat hot day in the sun of the heat of the all day heat of the work

I installed this back on Feb 3rd of this year to run the heat pump. Yesterday I flipped the AC on for the first time and within minutes there was a HORRIBLE screeching sound, so I immediately shut it down. To say the motor was way would be an understatement.. I placed my hand on top of the AC unit and nearly burned my hand.. I'm just glad I was home when it happened or I may not have a home to come back to. Absolute garbage, and no warranty, either!Buyer beware!

All the other fan motors listed had a week wait time, and I had already been without AC for a week, in Florida, at the beginning of summer, when it's very humid from all the rain. So far, so good!

This fan motor was easy to install and ran quieter that the previous one. I am curious to see how long it lasts. We put it on a 14 year old Lennox heat pump.
