My original was a Norton 601TB that failed. I believe the second part of the 601T numbers are a date code that doesn't matter. The replacement that was sent looks different. It was solid instead of having a hollow part in the metal and has a shorter exposed metal part. The installation was a bit of a pain, but so was the removal of the original. It partially sat behind the gas valve, but that isn't the igniters fault. It had some extra parts that weren't used in my case. There was a bracket and plug adapter that I didn't need.It fit the existing hole and upon turning everything back on, the igniter turned red and lit the burners. Everything has been working for a little over a month with daily use, so I can't complain.
