Causes: Human Services

Target demographics: GraceWay Village staff and volunteers have a twofold, humanitarian mission. First, they now fight food insufficiency by providing free, nutritious dinners, five evenings a week, at five distribution sites. In addition, their clothing boutique enables children and teens to ‘shop’ for critically-needed clothing, and enables social service agencies to meet their clients’ emergency clothing needs.

Direct beneficiaries per year: Due of the recent, unparalleled demands, GraceWay Village has increased its food distribution program fourfold, and distributes 3,000 meals monthly. Last year, 3,000 children received 215,000 items of clothing and other supplies.

Geographic areas served: St. Lucie County, Florida

Programs: GraceWay Village serves the homeless, the chronically unemployed, home-bound seniors and disabled, families in poverty, and those impacted by COVID-19 crisis. The clothing distribution program serves children of low-income families from infant to age 18.
