Love the cereal

My husband loves this oatmeal and we cannot get it anywhere except online. Wish local stores carried it but glad we can at least find it here.

Works exactly as advertised.

It is very Delicious with Regular White Sugar .

Love the convenience of quick cook oats. Found the any more than 1/4 c in a very large coffee mug, you will have a mess in microwave. I put 1/2 c of frozen blueberries in mine to cook with oats. Helps to keep the foam down. Always have a bowl before going out for an hour power walk.

I love this oatmeal by Bobs red mill. I used to buy it at Costco but they don't carry it anymore. Thankfully I found it here! I like to buy in bulk since I eat over a cup a day between breakfast and smoothies.

easy and fast to prepare and just as delicious as longer cooked steel cut oats.

But I couldn't do it.The reason I wanted to leave a 1 star is because this is not quick cooking oatmeal. As far as my eyes, my taste buds, and clock can see this is the same exact product as their steel cut oats. Not sure why they label these differently.The reason I didn't give them a 1 star review is because I love all of Bob's Red Mill products, and eat them every morning. These are great! These take just as long to cook however as any other steel cut oats.The great thing and the reason I'm reviewing is that the quick cooking oats are less expensive than the others, so, well... guess what I'll be buying.And my final note, if you're looking for something quick cooking the oat bran is the quickest of their cereals that I've found. Tastes great too. Not sure what the package directions say (haven't read them in a while), but I do a cup of water to 1/3 of oatmeal and the oat bran takes about a minute to cook. The steel cut (or quick cooking steel cut) take about 8 to 10 minutes.Great stuff! I'm eating a bowl as I type this.

Breakfast. I was cooking it ahead and warming it in the microwave, but it cooks so easily that I make it fresh while my coffee is brewing...!

Bobs Red Mill does a great organic quick cook version of steel cut oats, but they are sometimes hard to find, and this was a competitive price when buying in quantity.

The best steel cut oats, period. Wish I could buy this organic version in bulk. Expensive to buy this way. Costco had 7 lb bags in 2018-20 winter season. I bought and stored many bags in fridge and even freezer. Then no more, so I now cook other brand organic rolled oats I get at Costco mixed with Bob's 1:1. Large glass bowl, 1 cup of each, one quart almond milk. Lots of cinnamon. Microwave untouched for 20 minutes. Stir at finish. Done. Perfect. This is how I did 100 percent Bob's when I could buy it in bulk. There is growing data that non-organic oats contain RoundUp residue. Suspected carcinogen. Ohstore cooked oatmeal in fridge. Above makes a week of breakfasts. Big glass bowl needed to prevent overflow in micro. Easy!

The oatmeal is a good value and tasty. I also like the fact that they're organic.

I eat this oatmeal every morning I never get tired of it - just delicious.

Bob's Red Mill has through the years expanded and yet, has kept their products at a higher standard. We enjoy the cereal and for health reasons we have always had oatmeal. There are different cuts and rolls depending for what you will have. With time in your control, this is a better bet. I do boil the water with spices and when it is really hot, I put in the oat, turn the stove off and cover it at night. In the morning I add more water, heat it and stir it to get the mucilage out for which fiber and mucilage makes oats the healthy cereal.

I like the fact that it's organic and quick cook steel cut oatmeal. Regular steel cut takes 15-20 minutes to cook and this only takes around 5-6 minutes. The flavor is great and it's firmer and not mushy like the rolled oats are, which I prefer. Grocery store prices can be high for this product, so I vary between buying it there on sale or online if the price dips enough.
