I make it by toasting it in a pan with butter for a couple of minutes, one tbs for every cup. Simmer for a while with a mixture of milk and water, 1 cup milk three cups water and add 1/4 tsp of salt after a while. These can be scaled up.

I cook it for 5 minutes in the microwave and add milk, raisins, and cinnamon. Delish and so easy. This is so good for you. The oatmeal recommended for the most health benefits is steel-cut oats. This order comes super packaged. The individual bags are strong, resealable, and work. This is a quality product. I have ordered many times and it always is perfect.

Terrific oatmeal! Be sure to put it in the freezer to keep fresh as possible until use. Love it and definitely would buy again, and again. Look forward to it every morning! Soak it and then cook it which cuts back the cooking time. Tastes verrry fresh!

Its quick cooking but I bring to the boil, turn off heat and leave a couple of hours before I eat - less likely to stick to pan and I dont have to stand and watch.After having steel cut oats, I'll never go back to the stone ground kind. Texture enhances taste.And its medicinal - a daily necessity
