Causes: Job Training

Mission: To sustain a strong and vibrant regional economy by improving the profitability and competitiveness of manufacturers and health care delivery organizations and their supporting infrastructure and other operations, through training in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles. Also to promote successful implementations in clients' operations and help perpetuate a positive future for the industry in our region.

Direct beneficiaries per year: Hundreds of companies and thousands of individual workers

Programs: The organization's personnel provide training, coaching and project facilitation in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles onsite at manufacturing companies and health care delivery organizations in and around Massachusetts. GBMP also organizes an annual conference in the region, public workshops, plant tours, and networking events. GBMP is a licensed affiliate of Utah State University's Shingo Institute. To facilitate learning, GBMP offers streaming video training on its subscription service Leanflix. org
