The bacon scent was quite strong and my cats really shied away from it. I think this is something dogs might like better. Also, it was a little unwieldy covering the pill in the goop. Basically, it was a jar of bacon scented thick and sticky goop that you have to dig out and form around the pill. My cats were resistant on many levels.

This is better than Pill Pockets and I use it all the time. My dog loves it.

My cat doesn't often eat human food so when she was offeded bacon flavor, she was indifferent to it. However, if it is mixed with her treats, she will eat it. The wrap completely covers the taste so it works. She has tried to bite through but the layer is thick enough that she doesn't detect the pill. If she liked bacon flavor, she'd likely gobble it all up with ease but this is better than the alternative.

This product is one of the few things I can use to get my 15 year old Chihuahua to take his pills. He just picks them out of the pill pockets and eats the good part. With this pill wrap he is not able to take it apart. He loves the flavor as well. Unfortunately, 9 out of the 10 times I have tried to order it, it is out-of-stock. I understand this probably due to the manufacturer and not the vendor, but If I cannot get it consistently, I will have to find something else.

A waste of money as my cat quickly turned his nose up and walked away from this and gave me a WTF face. I think the smokey, bacon flavor must be an acquired taste for cats at least. Do yourself a favor and buy a bacon flavor treat to be sure your cat likes it before plunking down the money for this. I will say that being able to scope an amount to wrap around your pill was pretty cool. My pet store finally got in salmon flavored pill pocket which worked for my cat.

The most important thing is the dogs love the flavor. The product is much easier to use than the individual wrapped pill pockets that are also available. You can also with the pill wrap scoop out the correct amount.

I began to use Vetoquinol Pill Wrap, after learning that my 12.5 year old beagle is allergic to chicken. I wish I has used it from the very beginning, when we first got her. She loves it. She scarfs down every kind of pill regardless of size, odor, anything really. So easy for me and it lasts much longer than you would expect. A little goes a long way!

My senior dog loves the flavor. Just a small amount covers 2 pills easily. No smell or stickiness on your hands All round winner - lasts me a whole month. Recommended by my veterinarian.

It works great to cover any size or shape of pill. I'm giving pills to a cat, and have been for a while now. At first I could wrap it, put it in with her food and she'd just scarf it down. Then she started eating around it, so I tried burying them in a tablespoon of sardines, which she is crazy for, she ended up eating around them, even unwrapped...Arghh! So now I wrap them, one 5 mg tablet of Zyrtec which is tiny and 1/4 of a large tablet of antibiotic, and put a little wet food on thenm and shove them (one at a time) into the corner of her mouth, she chomps them right down. The wrap adds volume to the tiny pill so I know she's eaten it, and covers the pokey cut edges of the antibiotic.Highly recommend it. I have had mine for a couple of months with no problem of drying out, but I twist the lid on as tight as possible.
