Mission: The mission of Grow Your Own Meal™ (GYOM™) is to operate an incubator for the development of advanced food production technologies. The incubator is organized to promote appropriate technology transfers of food production techniques that support the sustainable operations of diverse, energy efficient and secure food production facilities.
Results: To date we have achieved development of a very unique and innovative design of the food production facility incorporating renewable energy sources and energy efficiencies to insure our goal of net zero energy consumption is met. We have raised enought funds to develop our Board of Directors, gain IRS 501C3 approval, purchase our insurance and develop marketing materials for grass roots fundraising efforts.
Target demographics: Ages 8 to 80 for education; Ages 21-65 for farmer entrepreneurs
