I live in dusty Arizona and these are perfect for dusting everything from furniture to window blinds and sills. Also good for dusting artificial decorative plants and lamps. I have used these for years but really appreciate them since we retired to Arizona.

These dust cloths are great. They are impregnated with some waxy substance that grabs the dust but does not leave any film. This makes them good for unfinished wood furniture and dusting glass objects. They are great for painted and sealed furniture and keep you from having to use a spray to hold the dust to the rag. From an environmental stand point, they are good because you are not spraying chemicals, not disposing of a can or plastic bottle and paper towels.

I remember my mom using these treated cloths back in the sixties... and they are still made for a reason - they are the BEST for picking up holding dust and not redistributing it when dusting furniture and will not scratch the surface. I now have a lifetime supply LOL.

I don't think you can wash in washing machine and expect much life. I've been washing and rinsing using a little soap in warm water to clean them.

I'm a paint contractor and use these for fixing off woodwork. They work great for the intended purpose. Not good to try and clean and reuse though, for me once all areas are dusty of used up so they can be pretty expensive to use a lot.
