This book is fantastic. I wish I had known about it a long time ago. It has both the 34;call 91134; and 34;if you can't get help, here's a makeshift solution34; type approaches, and includes a wide range of very useful info. How many packable first aid book include a section on dental emergencies? They all should, but this is the only one I've seen that has that a lots of other useful info. Highly recommended!

I love the information and clear black and white pictures of what is needed for interventions. But the size was a disappointment. I had seen this same book at a hiking store a few years ago in its 3rd edition, the book was 2.5'ish times the size, therefore thinner, and able to fit down the back of a pack without much lump, and with a more readable font for my ageing eyes! This book since it is compact is thicker, with small font. I was thinking the price would have been $5 less since the downsize when I took it out of the packing. But you may have great reading vision and appreciate the smaller but bulkier shape. Again the information is great for a pack-able book.
