MaxOut ™rechargeable dry chemical fire extinguishers effectively smother flammable liquid fires without conducting electricity back to the operator - just the type of protection needed in an automotive environment (never use water on a flammable liquid or electrical fire). MaxOut ™extinguishers containing more than 1 Pound of agent are also rated for common combustibles like wood, paper, rubber, and some plastics. This added effectiveness makes them ideal for marine and home use as well. High quality steel cylinders and all-metal valve construction. Fire engine red finish will not fade like anodized units on the market will. It contains a siliconized sodium bicarbonate based dry chemical with free flowing and non-caking additives that ensure the agent will not "brick up" as some dry chemical extinguishers can. Use to smother fires involving flammable liquids and rest assured knowing that the agent will not conduct electricity back to the operator.
