It works fine. It could be a bit tighter on the rolling pin. I wish there was a option to buy just the rolling pin cover or multiples not the towel.

Laundered before using it had hole in the rolling pin cover when I used it. Don't expect it to be very durable. But it was an inexpensive purchase.

I was hoping this would be a great addition to my pie crust making. The shape is square so it's difficult to fit into the counter and make work without getting flour onto the floor. Rectangle would be better or a smaller square to accommodate rolling out crust for a “10 pie.It's too lightweight so it doesn't stay put.The rolling pin cover is also too lightweight, it slips all over and doesn't hold flour.I'm out both items into a huge bag dolls with 3 cups of all purpose flour. I shook it on the bag several times.Unimpressed, I threw it into the trash.My pasty mat has enough of a cloth feel to it that I can work well with it.

Growing up my grandmother had this. Times change and I ended up getting a plastic mat and rolling pin. I have used it but never liked it. This pastry cloth and a sleeve for the rolling pin are exactly what I remembered. I am pleased! Just follow the directions for cleaning. And don't clean it too often.

I love making my own pie crusts, and this works great for me. I just have to make sure when I wash it that I wash it by itself as for the flour and oily residue that accumulates.

I have been trying for longer than I care to admit to make a pastry crust. I have tried pastry boards, mats, and even my mother's roll between two sheets of wax paper technique. I have avoided making pastry because I just couldn't make it happen.I had heard about pastry cloths and finally decided to try it.O. m. goodness. I prepared the cloth and it was amazing.This cloth is thick, seems durable, and has stitched edges. It came with a cover for the rolling pin which I also used. The only issue I had was some loose threads coming off the rolling pin cover but not a big deal.

The pastry cloth It's made of something very thick like canvas. It's extremely stiff. I would not recommend buying this product. The rolling pin cover is made of an inferior cloth as well. I doubt it will last long. Fortunately I still have my old rolling pin cover which was a very good quality.

I will never make a pie without this product. My mother-in-law told me about it and I've since shared with my friends/family. It makes it so easy to transfer delicate, flakey dough from counter to pie tin.

This combination is excellent. Sadly, I washed dried them and the pastry cloth came out very wrinkled. I will Iron it but suggest that it be dried naturally, as I will do in the future.
