Sometimes it is hard to find these, it is a bit thin, but it works fine. I would like it if it was a bit longer.

This is not the first I have owned. Im retiring my 25yr old cloth and roller cover for the new one. Seems like it will be as good as my old one was. I would recommend them to anyone who does pies and cookies needing rolling. Im sold.

A must-have for rolling flaky pastry and kneading bread dough without working in too much flour. Also great for keeping rolled cookies from getting tough during rerolling.

First time they were used kept winding around the rolling pin no matter how little pressure was put on them. After washing one end completely unraveled.

I was so glad to find the pastry cloths most of all because they're such good quality. I'll be a steady customer.

While similar to canvas, the cloth is actually made of cotton Coutil, which is a twill. Notorious for shrinking! You're not supposed to wash pastry cloth every time. Flour use will “season” it so to speak. Sort of like cast iron skillets. BUT. Spills and buildup do happen. Use a bench scraper to scrape it off. You can store it in the freezer if you are using it again soon. If you do wash it, COLD WITHOUT SOAP and air dry flat. You might need to rub some flour into it again after that. It's weird I know. If you are making something with a lot of fat content, it might be better to use a board or the kitchen counter. Sticky stuff creates buildup. This is a nice little cloth, good for at home use. If you need something bigger, you might look into ordering a piece of Coutil on its own from a fabric shop online. Just be sure to hem or serge the ends if it's going to be kept loose. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase. I just needed a little piece for French bread, biscuits and pie crust.

I use this for one time and then put it in a plastic bag in the freezer for use at another time. When washing, always use cold water and wash separately. It holds up just fine!

This was purchased as a gift for an aspiring pie maker. The cloth was not super heavy like some of the much more expensive cloths but perfectly serviceable. The weave was tight, holds flour well, and makes handling pie crusts so much easier. Washing was done by hand and hung to dry. It does wrinkle quite badly when washing but irons out easily with a good steam iron. Some shrinkage occurred but not anything earth shattering. Overall an excellent value.
