Bronze HUB. The barrel, which is the cylinder that supports the propeller blades, has 15 SPLINES (VS-14). The hub connects the propeller to the propeller shaft on an outboard or sterndrive motor. Splined metal inserts in the hub's center match the splines on the propeller shaft. They created a high-tech set of rubber bushings made of a high-quality durable with long-lasting rubber compound. The rubber libs are meant to be installed simply by pressing them into the hub with minimal effort if you have the necessary equipment. However, they give more gripping force to keep the propeller from slipping.
