Great planer if you get this one you will not regret, it did come with a bent folding table, I have gotten with Dewalt to get a replacement and time will tell how good there customer service is. I have ran 100 board feet of cypress thru it and the finish is great. This is a great planer had a Ryobi before this and it was junk, 6 months after I bought it I could not get any parts for it. This new planer is been around for a while so I don't think that parts will ever be a problem. Build is very beefy and it is heavy. But that is what you want for a planner. Very little snipe and I contribute that to the bent table that was on the outset table. It is noisy so but you some ear muffs but all planets make a lot of noise. Set mine up on a stand with wheels so I can move it around in the shop with little effort.

I have used it numerous times since it's arrival. I will be building a rotating table for the planer and jointer to accommodate my small shop.

I love everything about this planer. After using a Porter Cable Planer for years I upgraded to this 735 I rigged a diy dust collector up and after planing a chainsaw cut plank only a few flakes of sawdust. The white oak plank was ready for finishing. Not anywhere near as loud as the PC. Highly recommend

This planer is light enough to be mobile. Was easy to set up and ready to use quickly. Precision cuts. Knives are a bit difficult to change, but I can deal with that. Overall, a great tool for the workshop!

Seriously, this thing is awesome. I've been planning Cuban mahogany and Haitian cedar which are both quite tough and this thing is giving flawless results. Didn't take much to learn how to use it either. Just take your time with the harder wood and remove jibber layers at a time for best results

Sure beats sanding down a piece of wood (you still have to sand but only a few passes instead of enough to make your hand go numb). It's a really solid planer, I had considered going with the harbor freight to be on the cheaper side, however, I figured this would keep its value a lot longer. I've also heard the harbor freight planer doesn't last.Only drawback is that it's loud, which is expected so wear your ear protection unless you want to lose your hearing. The dust ejector is fan powered so you'll eventually want to build or buy a dust collector. There's cheap ways to build a cyclone dust collector if you look online. Great piece of machinery to add to the workshop and you won't be disappointed.

This planner will do the job you you but you need a vacuum system if you work in a small area.

Right out of the box, this planer works perfectly. The instructions claimed that it was calibrated at the factory and my first tests proved that the cuts are accurate. This is my first Dewalt planer and right now I'm loving this machine.

4 post...chain drive off 1 handle...built in blower from hell and super smooth finish...I put a dryer vent through workshop wall using 4 flex drain pipe...chips go outside nicely for use in garden....

Used my new planer already have about 3 hrs of use on it. Very happy with it. Had to wait for the 550$ price for quite some time. 650$ seems a bit high.

Unfortunately I used the machine for 1 day and it started to have a lot of sparks in the armature. It's speed has since slowed down and am not using it. Disappointed.

I've had another brand for several years and have wanted the Dewalt for some time. Out of the box this planer is fifty times better than my old Wen planer. I wish I had purchased this to begin with. If your considering buying a planer get off your wallet and buy the best to begin with.
