I was thrilled to find such a nice cassette player. I am listening to old cassettes that my dad made about WWII along with some of his other comrades. We are trying to get a booklet printed for the family, and so I listen to the tape, and type .

I know quality of many types of electronics as I had many over the years. I work on pc and also am an auto technician. Purchased this tape recorder few days prior. Plays stereo cassette music with good stereo sound. It is well constructed and built with good quality and performance. Copy mp3 files to a flash drive then plug it in it plays MP3 music. ( switch on side for tape or mp3 ) I give this tape cassette recorder a very high rating.

Pro: Needed to replace a cassette recorder that had ac/dc power. That unit did have a detachable power cord.Con: ac cord is not detachable. Flawed design.
