This is a good product. We bought it to play old tapes that were made of our kids when they were very little, 30 plus years ago! This plays all the tapes very well. Decent sound quality!

I am an Author. When I have thoughts about my story I record and then put them in my manuscript. Great way to tell the story. Great quality and easy to use. I love it. Wish I had done this years ago.

I was very surprised to play my fist tape on this machine. The volume is reasonable and at the highest level there is only slight distortion. Solid mechanical feel. Solid responive buttons This is a keeper.

usb connection and can be on back with full out in support for better sound. batter yes can be used more times.

I bought this recorder when the Jensen one I had recently purchased rendered itself unusable. The Hamilton Buhl is far superior to the Jensen; I use it frequently! Thank you!

Needed a recorder that would take an external mic. This is the only one that I could find. Great value and works fine. Looks like , and operates like my 50 year old Radio Shack recorder which just bit the dust. Only one problem - there was no instruction as to how to use the USB part of the recorder. Guess I'll figure it out one day.

I was thrilled to find such a nice cassette player. I am listening to old cassettes that my dad made about WWII along with some of his other comrades. We are trying to get a booklet printed for the family, and so I listen to the tape, and type .
