Mission: To assure that every man, woman and child in Hamilton, Ohio and the surrounding communities, will have access to nutritional and gardening information, fresh produce, and their associated services; and the opportunity to grow their own food in a private or community garden plot.

Results: 2010 - 2011 ¬Founder Alfred Hall became a Certified Square Foot Gardening (SFG) teacher . Garden installed in the courtyard of The Schuler Benninghofen Manufacturing Facility . Installed SFG gardens for Heaven Sent Coffee Shop, Ms. K’s Salon, Metropolitan Coffee Shop and for private citizens throughout Butler County . Participated as an urban gardening panel member for Miami University (MU) Hamilton’s Legacies & Learning Series . Became involved with, and began managing, the Historic Hamilton Farmers Market . Established a web presence & electronic social network. Began greenhouse operations in the Lindenwald section of the city . Mentored MU Hamilton B. S seniors during their Cap Stone Projects . Partnered with City of Hamilton to establish Community Gardens . Established a community garden for St Raphael's and the First Presbyterian Community Meal Center . Installed raised SFG garden beds at Schroder Assisted Living Facility . Partnered with OSU Agricultural Extension to outline a Produce on Wheels for Eating Healthy Program . Honored by OSU Agricultural Extension as Economic Business of the Year. 2011-2012Taught an Urban Gardening Class at MU- Hamilton . Registered as a non-profit organization . Assisted a MU-Hamilton student map the community gardens located in Butler County . Increased participation in community gardening . Assisted D Russell Lee students and faculty re-open their greenhouse Installed gardens at Holy Grounds Coffee Shop, Our Fathers House, The Pioneer Log Cabin Monument, and St. Julie Billiart Church . Instructed and assisted St Julie Billiart parishioners install raised box . gardens , and distributed 200+ plants for 15 gardens. Partnered with Tri-State Habitat for Humanity on nutrition and gardening projects . Partnered with German Village Inc. to open a Fall / Winter Market . Participated in the organization of Operation Pumpkin Festival . Assisted in establishing the Reynolds Street Community Garden in Middletown, OH… Assisted Brookwood Elementary School Establish a school garden Mentored Butler Tech students in urban gardening techniques. Currently partnering with the City of Hamilton to establish a HUGS Hub.
