Handy box for trying out ideas. I used it for a game project, was a quick inexpensive way to house the components. Very sturdy box.

It's a neat little case for small projects. I used it to house a Raspberry Pi Zero camera, and it worked great! No complaints from me.

Does what's expected. Only improvement I could hope for is the replacement of the self threading screws with a pre-threaded setup - the self threading ones make quite a mess of plastic when opening the first couple of times.

I used this for a prototype project and it was great to work with. It's durable and rigid but is easy to make the holes you need. I would definable get another one for other projects. It comes with screws for the back panel as well

I used this to do the howchoo guide on creating a mini Raspberry Pi arcade controller. It worked great! The plastic is a bit brittle (be careful if drilling with a hole saw/stepper bit). One thing to note is the supports in the four corners (where the screws attach) go all the way to bottom of the enclosure, which makes it difficult to mount square or rectangular things to the inside corners of the box. This isn't a huge issue, but you may need to cut these supports to do so. Overall, it's a solid enclosure and the quality is excellent -- especially for the price.

Excellent project case but I note many are using for housing mains level 115 volt power projects such as thermo controls. U who are on the road must have a code --- and this does not. The codes are to prevent serious injury or death. Defeat them at your peril. Use a UL or other properly rated enclosure. This is for printed circuits, low power, etc, preferably battery operated. It is rated for flammability, but wall thickness insufficient for 10 amp cable connections. See hammond site for enclosures that are properly rated.

Although the size of this box isn't really what I wanted for my project, it should work for me temporarily. It DOES appear very well-made. Very nice fit and finish. I should have probably done more research to find something more size-suited for my project. For someone wanting a project box of this size, it appears to be a desirable item. It's NOT cheaply made. The tolerances are spot-on. The wall thickness is very good for any applications that don't demand/necessitate a metal box. The lid 34;seals34; very nicely to the box and comes with the correct size screws (also black, to match the box). In retrospect, and with absolutely NO reservations about this product, I MAY opt to do a little more research for a more size-appropriate box. It arrived on-time, via parcel post, in a bubble-wrap lined, manilla envelope, and undamaged. Thank you!.
