Mission: Hand in Hand Parenting helps parents when parenting gets hard. Hand in Hand offers a simple, adaptable, effective approach to parenting based on the parent's power to guide their child through play, listening, sensible limits, and warm connection, rather than rewards and punishment. Hand in Hand shows parents how to build emotional support for themselves, to help ease the emotional work of parenting. We do this through easy-to-access support, classes, literature, and an online moderated Parent Club. Over the last 30 years, thousands of parents have expressed their gratitude for the transformations they have seen in their families after using the Hand in Hand Listening Tools and approach. And now Hand in Hand Parenting is currently conducting a feasibility study supported by Frontiers of Innovation, the Research and Development platform at Harvard University's Center on the Developing Child. It will be followed by rapid-iteration pilot studies on Hand in Hand's 6-week Starter class in 2020.
