I took a look at this thing and said, "No way!"My husband love, love, loved it! He's a retired general contractor, can fix anything, loves arts n crafts, puzzles, and creative challenges. And these are definitely challenging, even for the best of them.

I liked the easy snap apart pieces, I do not like the directions, which were a bit hard to understand with just a picture no explanation. And j do not like had easily the railings break.

I was glad that some of the fragile pieces had spares since several broke while putting together.Overall this was a fun project that results in a machine that will need some tweaking to make it really work. I used leftover pieces and made a few enhancements that allow me to crank through many dozens of balls without too many glitches.Not for a novice puzzler or modeler. Expect to need to figure a few things out to make it work well, otherwise it will still look awesome in the curio cabinet.Take your time! It is worth it in the end.

I found that if you take your time, this kit will go together without much trouble. I found the reviews from others helpful, especially when they said make sure that your pieces are firmly in place. This kit was well cut out, and the pieces easily identifiable. Make sure you follow the instructions in order. I would purchase another kit from this manufacturer.

I had a great time putting this together, but keep in mind it takes patience and quite a bit of time to get it right. I gave it 5 stars for ease of putting it together because the instructions are really good, and the pieces are incredibly precise, BUT don't think this is going together fast. Also, buy crazy glue, you will break some pieces during the process so you'll need it. Repairs are easy and fast, but they will happen!

Bought as gift for 11 yr old granddaughter. She did well with lower complexity subassemblies but needed help with the more complex subassemblies and final assembly. She broke a few parts which I was able to repair with wood glue. Kit was missing a couple of parts but we were able to work around it. After final assembly, I exercised the unit extensively to find the weak points and made several adjustments with glue and toothpicks to get reliable and consistent performance. Overall, she and I had a great time working together and she now has a unique item in her room she can enjoy and share with others.

Fun to put together. As someone who has big hands it was tough to be gentle with the smaller pieces. Overall it was worth it. It brings more joy to my jumpy kitties too

I took this on a beach vacation and had a blast putting it together. Much better than a jigsaw puzzle! But you need patience. And definitely master the instructions before starting. The manual is IKEA-style, but more complicated. My daughter has already bought me another one for a gift and I can't wait to open it up! I do not know what other companies are like, but ROKR was top quality!
