This is the second puzzle I purchased. Will probably buy a third. Easy to understand instructions and parts are easy to remove from their sheets. Take your time and you shouldn't have any breakage. It does come with extra parts if needed.

This was an above average marble run kit. It's my 4th one and this one has a few features I really appreciate. I liked that Rokr didn't stick with plain unfinished plywood. The inclusion of some plexiglass and colored wood made for a more visually interesting build and using metal axles made this one of my smoothest running kits. This certainly shouldn't be your first build, but if you've made a few you'll have more than a few challenges, but not many frustrations. If I had to pick nits, I'd say I'm not crazy with the way the ramps fasten to their mount. They're not terribly secure and can come out of alignment if the base flexes a little. In addition, towards the end the illustrations get a little lazy and they clearly want you to refer to the video (which seems like cheating to me)

Gave as a gift to my 12 year old nephew who likes building things and was super excited to receive it. Not sure if he has put it together yet. But makes a great gift

Make sure in each corner of the wooden sheets there is a single L. One picture shows misalignment looks like backward F. If it's misaligned the hole centers aren't cut correctly. Send it back, save yourself the time I wasted troubleshooting.

My 10 year old and I had a great time assembling this. He needed help with some of it, but I really enjoyed doing it. It was interesting how the pieces fit together. Once assembled, it needed a tiny adjusting for it to work properly, but once done, wow!

Wooden Puzzle was the appropriate level of 'Ease of Assembly' for an adult. It was a family gift, and absolutely a hit. Great fun. Quality product and excellent seller.

I would recommend you watch a video before building which shows important techniques. I was impressed with the precision cuts of the pieces and if joined properly should perform as shown. DO NOT glue along the way since disassembly at times may be necessary to correct misalignment. Breakage was minimal but if it happens then glue is necessary. Probably not for someone with big hands or fat fingers. I found it helpful to de-bur the slots and holes with a small craft file or sandpaper before fitting to allow the pieces to join more easily, or you run the risk of applying to much pressure and breakage. My assembled machine has one small glitch with the seesaw not working as it should and I have no clue what is causing it. Ah ha, I figured out the ramp leading to the seesaw needed a little more angle so the marble had enough speed to tip the seesaw so I simply added a spacer to one of the feet.

This was a lot of fun to assemble. So much so I want another one. Directions are easy to follow and they give you spare parts. I really enjoyed putting this together.

The engineering and design are flawless. The components and directions for assembly were spot on. I do recommend that you have super glue handy; I broke a half a dozen small parts as I pushed too hard. Clearly my fault and it did not impact function. When finished the steel balls moved around all the paths as designed.
